Genshin Impact 1.1 Gacha Banner leak details and Childe Character Trailer
Genshin Impact’s new 1.1 banners UI recently leaked online without popular belief of Xiao but feature Diona, Xinyan, Zhongli and Childe as what we have reported about the 1.1 leaks

What are the leak characters for the banners after Klee?
Klee’s Sparkling Steps banner will end before 1.1 update. The next two banners will feature feature Diona, Xinyan, Zhongli and Childe. The latter two you should have met them in the main story line and we have already covered about the 4 character in terms of their skills and 1.1 update leaks before.

The leak came from Reddit user u/wrightosaur. Although the poster might not be the same as what MiHoYO rolling out when the server going for public live, the subreddit mods were inclined to believe the leak after speaking with him.

There seems to be a supporting image going around, but the OP was not forth coming about information, so I’ve not been able to come to any conclusions. I did discover some pieces of information from a couple different sources that I still need verify, but until I get more information from a more direct source, this is all I can do for now.
With the supporting image I lean more to it being real, but until I have solid information that corroborates with what I’ve gathered, I’ll go ahead and keep the “potentially fake” tag. Stay safe and skeptical everyone, but please play nice.
Original: Since the OP seems to have very specific knowledge of where this ‘leak’ datamine came from, I have reached out to the OP to verify this information. I, nor any of the mod team on the subreddit have any ties to Mihoyo, but we need to verify the validity of the information because there’s some stuff that doesn’t really add up. Is it real?
According to Nipponhashi analysts, it looks like the pictures provided are just two .png document datamined from the UI of the game for the next banners (most likely PC server) which is hidden from the public but already implemented on the live server. As for CBT CN server, those characters are provided to the players free via mail. the .png files will be overlayed with fonts and other layers for the banner frontend coding when you click on it for gacha.
MiHoYo are VERY EXPERIENCED in leaking information this way to hype up updates so you will spending money on it quick.

I thought so too at first, but upon further analysis I’m starting to believe it actually makes a lot of sense if we look at the pattern established by the previous 2 banners. MiHoYo kinda drove themselves into a corner by putting Fischl and Xiangling (users of the two least represented weapon types) in Venti’s banner instead of a claymore (weapon type with 5 existing users).
As unfortunate as it is, this combination of characters seems to be the only possibility they could have gone with that:
Avoids repeating banner-featured characters
Ensures no banner has two of the same element
Doesn’t include the 3 free characters (Amber, Lisa, Kaeya) since people are probably more interested in expanding their roster rather than building up constellations right now
Doesn’t intersect with any of the characters featured on Starglitter Exchange while the banner is up
As of 1.1 the game will contain the following 4-star characters, 16 in total:
Amber (Pyro Bow)
Barbara (Hydro Catalyst)
Beidou (Electro Claymore)
Bennett (Pyro Sword)
Chongyun (Cryo Claymore)
Fischl (Electro Bow)

3 characters are eliminated for being freely given at the start of the game and therefore unattractive for banners this close to the game’s launch.

6 characters are eliminated for having been featured in recent banners.

Additionally 4 characters could not have been included in previous banners because they were featured in Starglitter Exchange while the banners were active (Razor and Amber during Venti and Klee, Bennett and Lisa during Klee). Two of them will be available for the upcoming two banners (Razor, Amber) but Bennett and Lisa still can’t be in any banners that pop up this month. Effectively that means:
1 character is eliminated for being featured in Starglitter Exchange throughout November.

Without the eliminated characters, the possible pool of 4-star characters for the Childe and Zhongli banners is reduced to:

Yeah… that’s a lot of claymores, but I guess that’s Karma for not spreading them out more throughout the previous 2 banners, combined with the unfortunate timing of introducing a new one.
One way or another, the combinations featured in the allegedly leaked banners seem to be the only way to maintain the no-duplicate-elements pattern while also ensuring that there are 2 new and 2 existing characters per banner so that they both have equal novelty appeal.

I don’t see a way out of this dead-end. It’s a danged if you do darned if you don’t situation.
Try to put Ningguang under Zhongli and you get 2 Geo under one banner.
Try to swap Diona and Xinyan around and suddenly there’s 2 Cryo users under one banner.
Try to swap out Chongyun for Diona and now you have 3 new characters in a single banner vs 1.
Try to swap Diona and Xinyan around, as well as Chongyun for Beidou, and you end up with 2 Electro under one banner.
Try to swap Razor and Beidou around and… that’s actually the only alteration that works! Buuuuut since they’re both Electro Claymore, it doesn’t solve the problem XD
He summarised things up like Sherlock Holms with logics and it’s a good read for everyone to think about the design of the gacha pool system of Genshin Impact. And he is actually true that the banner system is never perfect YET this is the way how MiHoYo can earn more money from players by mixing up bad gachas with good ones and now allowing you to diversify your own characters squad. This makes you owning a bunch very similar and overlapping property/role of characters from one pool making your team less effective and unplayable so you need to spend money on another pool as well.
In the end of the day, if you are free to play player, you won’t be able to have enough character and materials to finish high level spiral and dungeons. You will need 3 strong teams at least for 12 non-overlapping characters.
